5 July 2008 - following yet another set of botched raids by anti-terror Police on Muslims within the Stoke-on-Trent area in which a Muslim sister was also implicated, two of the men at the centre of the raids have spoken out highlighting their bewilderment as to the reasons behind the raids.
Abu Bosher and Abu Saif told reporters how their houses were intruded upon harshly with no prior notice or warning. Abu Saif described how his door had been 'knocked off its hinges' while Abu Bosher expressed his shock at the entire episode.
Both individuals reiterated how they could not comprehend why such violent action had to be taken while they had maintained peaceful relations with the community and local Police and were readily available for open dialogue had the need arisen. They made mention of their public activities which included public da'wah to society and free Islamic literature distribution.
Once again it seems that Brown's oppressive regime is bent on eradicating any form of propagation of Islam and furthermore is willing to subjugate anyone (Muslim) that is determined to carry out his or her obligation, reinforcing the notion that you are indeed innocent until proven Muslim.
