 What advice would you give to those who believe they have no responsibility?
My advice to such people is to be aware that hellfire is close to anyone who does not follow haq. The Messenger Muhammad [saw] said:“Each person is a Shepard, with sheep who has the responsibility.” Therefore no one can claim that he is free without responsibilities. Each and every one of us must fulfil our responsibilities the way Allah (SWT) asks us to fulfil them. To believe in this actually means that you believe that Allah (SWT) has created you without a purpose. Allah swt says: “I have not created the jinn and the ins (man) except that they should worship Me.” [51:56] “Does man believe he will be left alone, because he says ‘I believe’ without to be tested?” [29:2] Therefore, we have the responsibility to worship Allah swt in every aspect of our life, and to go through the tests we are faced with, with sabr. We all have the responsibility towards our families, our deen, our life, our community, our ummah and etc.
